Additionally, Chemex is able to develop methods and obtain standards in order to conduct bespoke analysis for chemicals that do not commonly appear on laboratory price sheets. Our staff are eager to research and develop methods that are outside our day-to-day practice.
Chemex has provided this type of service to a number of different clients including food manufacturers, high street clothing departments wishing to analyse for trace amounts of uncommon pesticides. Chemex's staff had to assess the availability of standards, develop the methods, run a performance-based method development study, establish matrix quantitation limits, calibrate our instruments and demonstrate our capability to perform the analysis. The results? Chemex provided our client with high quality data - that he was not able to find anywhere else - in a timely fashion so he could proceed with making important business decisions.
In addition, we provide analysis for a wide variety of specialty organics to other laboratories, on contract.
