Coming from the South by the A14
Leave the A14 at junction 32, then at the roundabout take the first exit onto Cambridge road, the B1049 (signposted Cottenham).
Continue along this road through Histon until you reach the village of Cottenham.
At the first and second roundabouts bear right onto the high street.
At the next mini roundabout turn left onto Broad Lane (signposted Industrial Estate).
Take the third right into Broad Lane Industrial Estate.
Chemex is located on the right hand side, UNIT J.

Coming from the North by the A14
Leave the A14 at junction 30, then merge onto Dry Drayton road (signposted Oakington).
Go straight through Oakington until you reach Cottenham.
At the first mini roundabout turn right onto Rampton road and take the next left.
At the next mini roundabout bear left on to the high street (signposted Willingham).
Continue along the high street until you reach the mini roundabout signposted Industrial Estate) and turn left.
Take the third right into Broad Lane Industrial Estate.
Chemex is located on the right hand side, UNIT J.

Chemex do not have a dedicated courier service, however, we can arrange collection of samples for you using various national and international courier companies. Charges for collection are invoiced at cost.

Standard next day couriers (UK) - these require booking before 12:30 on the day of collection, with the provision of a 2-3 hour collection window.

Sameday Courier (UK) - anytime collection

Refrigerated Courier services (UK) - anytime collection

Chemex can also arrange collections from outside the UK, but in general it is easier if collections are arranged in the country of origin. Chemex can provide clients with the information required to arrange these bookings if desired.

Turnaround times are quoted as the number of working days to the despatch of preliminary data. Preliminary data is provided prior to being fully checked by our independent Quality Assurance department. Due caution should be exercised when using the preliminary data. The final, authorised report will be due five working days after the preliminary data due date. The Chemex standard turnaround is 10working days to the issue of preliminary data, with the final report following five working days after this.

Much faster turnarounds than this are often possible, although clients should contact the Business Development Group on 01954 252519 to confirm achievable turnarounds before sending samples.

There are a number of methods to order your sample containers.

3. Email your request to analysis@chemex.co.uk
4. Fax us your request to 01954 251764

If you order sample containers before 13:00, it will usually be possible to dispatch them to your office or site by courier the same day. If it is more convenient you can collect the sampling kits from our facility yourselves by prior arrangement.

Provided that the samples are returned to Chemex for analysis the quoted price includes the supply of Chemex Sample Safe boxes, all the appropriate bottles for the requested analyses, Datasafe Chain of Custody forms, sampling instructions, packing, cool blocks, Custody seals and return address labels. The standard turnaround time is 10 business days to the issue of preliminary data, followed by 5 further business days to the issue of the fully validated and Quality Assured report.
