We can deliver your report to you using one or a combination of four formats;
· as a soft copy, either electronically or on a disk
· as a hard, printed copy by post,
· by facsimile
· in database format to allow the data to be easily integrated into your in-house information systems – this can be provided electronically, by e-mail, or on disk.

Chemex offers four levels of client reports. These are:

-Standard Class
-Corporate Class
-First Class
-Electronic (EDD). 

Here’s how they work:

The analytical 'package' required for each project is defined by the client as part of the reporting project specification.  The four class system has been developed to address the varied analytical requirements of the environmental sector.  Each class package has well defined specifications.  Differentiation of class package is based on:

- Data reporting deliverables
-Sampling provisions supplied to client
-Level of sample specific quality control/ instrument performance data included in report

Regardless of the analytical class package selected, our quality assurance system is applicable to all analytical projects and all levels of reports will be compliant with UKAS/ MCERTS/ GLP/ New Jersey (where applicable) quality standards. Full data package review is carried out by an independent QA department prior to submission of data to clients.

Standard Class reports are the most simplified reports we produce, automatically provided free of charge. It includes a front sheet, project note sheet with table of samples analysed, summary data sheet presented in <MDL mode, Appendix 1 -Points to Note and Appendix 2- Table of Methods (inorganics only).

Corporate class reports can be provided for an additional charge, if requested.
Our standard corporate class report includes a data summary sheet, individual and blank sample data sheets and chromatograms (where applicable). They also include a section of method description, Point to Note and un-scaled MDL/QL tables are also included in the corporate class report.

 First Class reports are the most comprehensive data reports, based on the QA/QC and reporting formats of the U.S. EPA Level III and IV (often mistakenly called CLP) . In addition to the Corporate class package, First class reports- the next level up- consist of an QA/QC section (see below), Mass spectra for target and tentatively identified compounds by GC/MS, chain-of-custody documentation, and analysis worksheets.There is an dditional charge for the first class reporting.

EDD reports vary widely in format. However, as a general rule, EDDs allow clients to populate databases and effectively generate final report tables for their clients, saving time and money. We are able to report data in most electronic formats, compatible with personal computers, minicomputers and mainframes. To produce electronic data deliverables meeting stringent data quality objectives and regulatory requirements, we work closely with our clients in order to provide data in the exact format requested. Chemex has nearly ten years experience providing EDD's to a number of our regular clients in the UK as well as overseas.

Project specific data quality objectives may require the laboratory to provide additional information or services. Some of the data presentation formats/ flagging, additional information supplied by Chemex:

-“<MDL” data presentation- our standard reporting mode, where all results below the method detection limit are reported as less than scaled MDL value.
-"Zero" mode, where all results above the instrument threshold are reported as numbers and results below the instrument threshold- as '0'.
-"J" flagging, where all data less than MDL are reported as scaled MDL value and “U” flag, and all results between MDL and QL are reported with “J” flag.
-“<QL” data presentation, where all results below the quantitation limit are reported as less than scaled QL value.
