Why does Chemex hold UKAS Accreditation?

UKAS accreditation is intended as a mean by which the customer can be reassured that a laboratory can offer high-quality services. The laboratory's procedures and practices are annually assessed to ensure that they meet the criteria laid down in ISO 17025, General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.

Chemex has been a UKAS accredited environmental testing laboratory since 21 March 1994 and has always sought to offer the most professional and highest quality service possible. This ethos will remain the bedrock of our operations.

Chemex laboratories are subject to ongoing periodic technical assessments and quality audits undertaken by independent UKAS experts in the relevant testing field(s). The UKAS mark indicates that the laboratory is legally recognised by various regulatory authorities as providing the highest quality testing in the fields for which it holds accreditation.
